Just like a trophy bag: the piece of your garderobe, the most expensive of all, the one with the biggest waiting lists. Should be especially apparent. Example: Louis Vuitton, Chanel or the Coco/Rocco bag of Alexander Wang.

Heirloom
Just like a heirloom coat: an expensive item that a heirloom is, a heirloom looks, or a heirloom to be. (for the Dutch ones who doesn't understand me: een heirloom is een erfstuk.)
Think of Hermès or Chanel bags. In clothing the pieces are so noticable that you only can wear them once.

Investment piece
Thats how sounds a expensive purchase. It's a way of art, you can wear it years and it got heirloom potential.

My mood to go swimming gets larger and larger when i see these photo's of Lara Stone for Eres. Her perfectly i-eat-what-i-want-body with the colorful bikini's, it let me remember that the summer gets closer and closer.

I found this genius pictures of Diane Kruger by Karl Lagerfeld, she did it good in the Vogue of Germany. If i would see this magazine i would definitely buy it!

Zara's next collection.

Zara has nice items again for next season. There is a lot of emphasis on the waist this time. With waist trousers, shorts and skirts. The new items will be soon in our shop, i can't wait!

SPRING TRENDS.

Milkshakes and cheerleaders - take your inspiration from romantic high school movies and American idylls.
This season fashion zeroes in on American style of happiness. Think of small-town idylls like Twin Peaks an Ralph Lauren in the eighties, glittering prom queens and Kanye West. The silhouette is body-hugging, the colours sharp or nostalgically faded. Patterns come straight out of the classic high school movies: polka dots, checks an graphic miniprints. Go out on a date in a stylish prom dress or turn yourself into a preppy goddess with a pleated skirt and a pearl necklace. For guys, it's shirts and chinos. True blue American!

Alexander McQueen pre f/w 2010 lookbook.

It's so wearable, innovative, and yet with a weird edge to it, it's unbelieveble he's gone.
This is a huge sorrow for the world.

Milan Fashion Week.

As you might know last week was Milan Fashion Week and here are some of the trend proposed by Dolce&Gabbana, Fendi, Prada and Versace for Autumn/Winter 2010/2011. Generally all the collections presents very sexies and functional outfits. For the Prada collection click here.

DOLCE AND GABBANA

The collection of Dolce and Gabbana is very sexy. With the red lipstick and the colours it all comes together. The most striking is the trend; over-the-knee dresses and skirts. Personally i don't like it, it makes me small and fat, but it looks so beautiful when i see it on the models.

FENDI.

And now Fendi, i litteraly don't have words for this extravagant, ready-to-wear collection. The pieces are each beautiful made and they all have something thats special. With this collection you can go to a fashion party, you can wear it as a red carpet dress, you can go to the North Pole (pic. 7,8) or you just go to your grandma.

VERSACE

Last but not least Versace. Totally diffrent than the other two but refreshing. This collection has more colour than Fendi and D&G together. I think it's better, because we don't want to hear; ''everyone is wearing dark clothes in the winter.'', ''the winter is depressing me.'' Whatever, about the collection. There are some pieces i like, but there are also some pieces that are really raunchy. Like the fur jacket, i mean thats over now right? And i don't think i'm gonna wear some of that dresses to a party, isn't that too much? Its RTW Donatella, you know you can better, prove it.
