Brooklyn Decker was born in Kettering, Ohio, in April 1987. Her family eventually moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, where she was discovered in a shopping mall. After signing with Charlotte-based agency Evolution Models, she landed her first gig in 2002, as the face of prom dress designer Mauri Simone.

Brooklyn has been working consistently since she arrived in New York in 2005, appearing in FHM, Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Seventeen, and Teen Vogue pictorials, as well as ad campaigns for Gap, Victoria's Secret, American Eagle, and Hollister. Best known for her appearances in Sports Illustrated, Brooklyn was featured in the magazine's Swimsuit edition in 2006, 2007, and 2008, and had the honor of ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange with other SI models.
Brooklyn’s involvement with SI resulted in not only a successful career, but also a love story. Shortly after tennis star Andy Roddick saw her in an issue, he asked his agent to track her down—and the two were married in Austin, Texas, on April 17, 2009.

Brooklyn’s on-camera work began with music videos for Jimmy Buffett and 3 Doors Down. She later appeared with Leslie Neilsen in 2007's Lipshitz Saves the World, and now hopes to make the transition to television.
